Evaluating the power distribution part of the bids, assisting the Owner in the preferred bidder and negotiating the contract ;
Managing the supervision and monitoring of the contractor regarding Sub Station
o day-to-day contract management,
o attend to the technical meetings with the client and/or the Contractors when required
o follow up and check the interfaces between the Power supply contractor and other Systems
o during the design phase, checking and auditing of design documents and drawings to be provided by the contractor including quality checks
o during the manufacturing phase, monitoring of the works, factory and site inspections, reporting to the System manager ensuring compliance with quality, cost and time
o contributing to the tests and commissioning process
o contributing to the handover to the future operation and maintenance entities
Checking the contractor invoices;
participating to the redaction of the monthly progress report;
Liaising with other Project Managers in charge of other rail systems: track, rolling stock, signalling/telecom...

Later on, the expert will take over broader responsibilities and deal with both power supply .
