- Full Description:
• Responsible for ordering, LC documentation for entire importation of capital equipment for the company as a whole
• Follow up/review with the vendor for dispatch of equipment and related documentation & payments for above
• Clearance of Capital equipment imported in various parts and arrangement of delivery to the respective plants.
• Importation/Documentation of imported spares as required by different plants and clearance/delivery to the respective locations
• Maintenance of records/register in connection with utilization of duty free license for import materials eligible for duty free benefit(DEEC)
• Liaison with customs for quick redressal of customs related issues to maximize DEEC clearance
• Monitoring of consignments arriving through air, clearances and distribution to the respective location as per the requisition
• Provide Control/Monitor on the detention/demurrage at the plants for unloading imported Capital equipment
